Created as a test piece for the 2009 launch of LayOut, the paper space tool that accompanies SketchUp Pro to help designers create design presentations from their SketchUp models. While it was never meant to contain all the drafting capabilities of an AutoCAD, I meant to prove that LayOut could be a reasonable companion for simple documentation.

The "Flapping Gazebo" became my go-to exemplar SketchUp model for the next few years, finding its way into many experiments and presentations.
